Interesting analysis, and in places damning e.g. "[Cameron] probably put no more serious thought into the actual implications of a referendum defeat than he would have put into an essay on the topic of referendums on a PPE degree course." https://twitter.com/law_and_policy/status/1353289960196075521

Move to EU to avoid Brexit costs, firms told.
“Moss said it was now clear that Brexit was not about winning back control from the EU but investing in it to survive.” https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/jan/23/brexit-hit-firms-advised-government-officials-set-up-shop-in-eu
PLOT TWIST
We thought Brexit was about diverging from the EU
Turns out it actually means moving UK firms to the EU
Yep
@tradegovuk advisers are actually telling UK firms to do this to avoid VAT/border costs
Is that what they meant by GLOBAL BRITAIN?

Some inconvenient truth to go with the government’s cornflakes this morning: the outrageous delays in criminal justice were caused by government, not Covid.

Men who are still allowed to call themselves Barristers:
• Man convicted of PWITS following death of his teenage boyfriend at chemsex party
• Man who followed lone female + upskirted her with his phone
• Man who grabbed female barrister by the neck + sexually assaulted her
