As ‘friends’ of Johnson said the last submission was ‘absolutely devastating’ one can imagine how much more absolute in its devastation this submission will be.
(Yes, we know absolutes cannot be relative.)
Breaking:
Sounds like Boris Johnson’s legal submission to privileges committee will not be published today
Committee says it needs to review submission and make ‘appropriate redactions’ to protect identity of witnesses
It highlights fact it received dossier at 2.32pm
(i) There was no ball
(ii) If there was a ball, there was no window
(iii) if there was a window, it was not broken
(iv) if the window was broken, it was not by a ball
(v) I broke the window with my ball in 'good faith'
**Boris Johnson's defence**
(i) Inquiry unlawful
(ii) Inquiry politically biased
(iii) New Whatsapp message showing he was advised rules weren't breached
(iv) 'General assumption' at time that events were compliant
(v) He acted in 'good faith'

1973 Border Poll in Northern Ireland
Did any of you vote in or boycott this poll?
Or otherwise remember the campaign or anything about it?
If so, please DM me what you can remember, for something I am writing.
Thank you.
This photograph is grotesque. The Home Secretary (@SuellaBraverman) shames herself. And she shames Britain. https://twitter.com/mowords/status/1637235569355792385
This is one of the most bizarre political photos I’ve ever seen.
This is the British Home Secretary in apparent ecstasy at the building of detention centers in Rwanda where she dreams of sending desperate people.
This is now considered normal?
Grigory Potemkin was so impressed by the decor of the Crimean homes being built for migrants from Russia that he joked he wanted the name of their interior designer

Suella Braverman was so impressed by the decor of the Rwanda homes being built for migrants deported from the UK that she joked she wanted the name of their interior designer https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2023/03/18/suella-braverman-jokes-could-use-interior-designer-behind-rwanda/?utm_content=telegraph&utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1679151666-1
Suella Braverman visits what I suspect is Rwanda's finest Potemkin village. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2023/03/18/suella-braverman-jokes-could-use-interior-designer-behind-rwanda/?utm_content=telegraph&utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1679151666-1
If you support spending £140M in Rwanda, £500M in France & £5.5M a day on hotels rather than just giving folk safe routes to a fair & swift asylum system you really need to think about why? There’s no possible way of seeing these policies as a ‘moderate’ or reasonable position.
The invention of something called "the elite" that doesn't include the world's biggest media mogul, the owners of the Telegraph,Mail & Express, the biggest donors in UK history, Boris Johnson or the party that's governed for 13yrs is the defining political achievement of our time
📣 thread 📣 1. If we are able to make this happen it may end up being the thing I am most proud of. Here’s the back story to the latest addition of @BBCFoodProg 👇 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001k7kx
“The latest spate of suspended sentences and carefully worded guidance by a senior judge are symptomatic of a perfect storm at the heart of our justice system” President @fadi60645907 tells the @DailyMirror
Sensible advice. https://twitter.com/stuartwithers1/status/1637228536414056449
Some pupillage interview feedback.
1. Please do a mock interview with your Inn before you do a real one. They are invaluable to obtain real time feedback. You can then avoid making common mistakes. Don’t squander a pupillage interview to test out your interview skills.
